As mentioned in the last
newsletter, we are moving to a new location. Our
team continues to grow and this new building will allow
us to expand. Wednesday's blessing of our building
is not the official opening, however, we will
inform you at a later date of when this event will take
place.
Please note that
there will be a break from the regular forthnightly
Newsletter until 6th August. This will give us some
settling in time.

Smoking Cessation
Course
Cancer
Society
The Cancer
Society Nelson welcomes all Golden Bay area health
care professionals as well as staff from local health
& social services agencies to the following courses:
CanQuit Practice Smoking
Cessation Training: Wednesday 6th August 10am to
4pm. Motivational Interviewing: Thursday 7th August.
10am to 4pm.
These sessions will be held
at the Golden Bay Work Centre. For more information

Heart Foundation
There is strong evidence
supporting the efficacy of smoking cessation support
delivered in the form of groups New Zealand Heart
Foundation. Read more about the Group
Facilitation Training Programme on the 6th,
7th and 8th August.
Post Graduate
Study
If you are contemplating Post Graduate
study or your career pathway this is the opportunity for
you. You are invited to attend a discussion hosted by
Brenda Bruning, Jan Dewar and Angela Taylor at NMDHB
seminar centre room 2 - on 23rd July 2008 from 6.00pm
8.00pm. A light supper will be
