Open Day and Annual General Meeting Thursday 25th September

Nelson Bays Primary Health would be delighted if you could attend an Open Day on the 25th September, preceding the AGM in our new offices at 20 New St, Nelson.

The purpose of the day is to share information about who we are, what we do and how we can support quality primary health care throughout the Nelson Tasman region.

We would like to extend an invitation to all providers and anyone involved with, or have a keen interest in primary health care.  The day has been structured to move from an informal gathering to a more formal programme. You are welcome to come to any or all of the sessions.

Outline for the day’s proceedings:

1.30-3pm: Meet the staff, information displays
3pm: Afternoon Tea
3.30-4.30pm: Formal presentations, questions and answers
5pm: AGM

If you want more information about the open day please don’t hesitate to ring us on 03 539 1170

PMAANZ Conference 16th-18th Oct 2008

“ASPIRING TO GREATER HEIGHTS”

Auckland Branch is proud to be hosting this year’s Conference to be held at The Spencer on Byron in Takapuna. This is the opportunity for Practice Managers and Administrators to come from all parts of New Zealand to exchange ideas, opinions and experiences among other members. This is particularly important for our many rural members who do not have local support networks.

Our conference theme this year is “Aspiring to Greater Heights’.  You will be inspired to set yourself goals, know how to problem solve without losing sight of where you want to be.

For more information about the conference email Bronwyn Mansfield admin@pmaanz.org.nz

South Island Population Health Strategy

Please find attached the panui for the second Nelson-Marlborough consultation for the development of the South Island Population Health Strategy.

After some advocacy we have successfully ensured this second consultation after the limited engagement with community stakeholders at the initial consultation earlier this year. While focusing on the whole of South Island it is important that we ensure Te Tau Ihu is acknowledged and recognized within the broader context.
