Nelson Bays Primary Health (PHO) News - 1st October 2008

Welcome to another edition of the Nelson Bays Primary Health fortnightly newsletter.

PHO News:

Open Day

Nelson Bays Primary Health held an Open Day at our new premises, at 20 New St, on the 25th of September.  This preceded our Annual General Meeting.

We saw the open day as an opportunity to share information about who we are, what we do and how we can support quality primary health care throughout the Nelson Tasman region.  Suzanne Win, Chairperson of the NMDHB, accepted our invitation to speak at this event, and we are very grateful and excited by the continued enthusiasm and support shown by her, and attending staff, for the ongoing development of this Primary Health Organisation.

We also very graciously thank all the people who took the time out of their working week to attend this function.  It was our opinion that we had an opportunity to develop our relationships with providers involved in health care in our region, and new opportunities and possible collaborative projects where certainly kindled on this day.  We look forward to this year ahead and we are committed to continue to work together with you to improve health outcomes for people in Nelson Tasman.
